Our Profile and Promise

 The company's beginnings date back to 1987 when Steve Haley, president of ACS, began a company whose focus was parking access control.  Under his leadership, ACS grew to become the largest parking controls systems provider in Tennessee.  Shortly thereafter, Joel Hill, vice-president of ACS, joined Steve Haley to develop a residential and commercial security/fire division, making ACS a full-service security company.  "Our client base is impressive and one of which we are most proud," says Haley.  "We have designed and installed systems for the military, major airports, universities, industrial and commercial facilities, and residential estates."

ACS is a complete systems integrator, offering a full range of products and services to meet specific needs.  Special security needs require special security solutions.  Understanding the client's needs is the first step in identifying the best solution.  Being able to design a system for a client requires not only knowledge about available security equipment, but also about integrating the hardware to meet the customer's needs.  Quality security systems are not mass-produced; they are customized.  Early involvement is key.  Being a part of the conceptual design is when ACS can offer its expertise of formulating the right security system for the need.  State-of-the-art technologies are used to guarantee the systems are fully expandable and can be easily upgraded with maximum efficiency and minimum cost.  As needs change, the systems may be modified to keep pace with these changes, offering continued and reliable performance today, tomorrow, and in years to come.

Today,
ACS employs a ten-member team of design specialists.  Each person has their own area of expertise, often combining their knowledge when working on projects involving multiple aspects of security through a team approach.

The installation and service department is comprised of 30 trained technicians experienced with a wide variety of security equipment and software. 
ACS has a reputation for superior service and is devoted to maintaining this standard of excellence with each customer.  At ACS, the after-the-sale relationship with the customer is as important as the original sale itself.  This is why service, maintenance and training are top priorities.
